Why VidFlip?

Built to fix what people hate about online converters.

No sign-up, ever

No accounts, no email walls, no trials that expire. Drop a file, pick a format, download.

No watermark

Your converted video comes back clean. Watermarks on your own footage are a dealbreaker, so we don't add them.

50+ formats

MP4, MOV, WEBM, AVI, MKV, HEVC and audio extraction to MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC — all from one page.

Private by default

Files are processed and deleted automatically. VidFlip never hosts or redistributes your media.

Fast, even on mobile

Optimized conversion queue tuned for phones on cellular — convert from iPhone or Android without an app.

Sensible quality defaults

We remux losslessly when possible and only re-encode when needed — no fake '8K enhancer' nonsense.

Frequently asked questions

Is VidFlip really free?+

Yes. VidFlip will be free for files up to a generous daily limit, with no watermark and no account required. We plan to fund the service with unobtrusive ads and an optional Pro plan for batch and large-file conversions.

Do I need to install anything or create an account?+

No. VidFlip works entirely in your browser — there is nothing to install and no sign-up step. Pick your file, choose the output format, and download the result.

Which formats will VidFlip support?+

At launch we target MP4, MP3, GIF, MOV, WEBM, AVI, MKV, WMV, M4V and HEVC, plus audio extraction to MP3, WAV, AAC and FLAC. More niche containers and codecs are added based on demand.

Is it safe to use an online video converter?+

With reputable converters, yes: your file is processed on the server, stored only for the minutes it takes to convert, and deleted automatically. Avoid converters that force browser extensions, fake download buttons or endless redirects — our guide covers the warning signs.

Will converting a video reduce its quality?+

Converting between lossy formats always re-encodes, which means some quality loss — usually invisible at sensible bitrates. Converting without re-encoding (remuxing) is lossless but only possible between compatible containers, which VidFlip will do automatically when it can.
